A bilingual homeschool gathering rooted in nature, connection, and honoring childhood.

The Casa Miel Fall Pod is a small, parent-child gathering designed for families seeking community, unhurried childhood, and meaningful connection. Over seven weeks, we'll come together each Friday to sing, create, play, and enjoy the changing season together.

Spanish is woven naturally throughout our time together through songs, fingerplays, stories, and everyday conversation, allowing children to experience the language in an authentic and joyful way.

Hosted primarily outdoors in our backyard, with a spacious indoor playroom available during thunderstorms or severe weather. Light rain is part of the adventure, and we welcome the opportunity to experience nature in every season.

Our Daily Rhythm

Every gathering follows a gentle rhythm while allowing space for the children's curiosity to guide the day.

🌿 Welcome & Settle

We begin with a warm welcome and a moment of quiet settling in, helping everyone transition into a mindful state of being.

🎶 Opening Circle

A joyful circle time featuring Spanish songs, stories, and fingerplays, fostering connection and a sense of community.

🎨 Shared Activity

We engage in a shared seasonal activity such as crafts, handwork, yoga, or storytelling, encouraging exploration and hands-on learning.

🌱 Open-Ended Play

Unstructured, unhurried play that allows children to follow their own curiosity and interests in a safe environment.

🍎Shared Snack

Families gather to eat together and enjoy conversation.

🤍 Closing Circle

We end our time together with songs, gratitude, and a gentle goodbye.

Casa Miel Fall Pod is not a drop-off program

Parents remain with their children and are invited to build friendships, share ideas, support one another, and grow together through the homeschooling journey.
 

This is a collaborative community where every family contributes to creating a warm, welcoming environment.
